Technical Work & Systems

I work at the practical intersection of business needs, software systems, infrastructure, and automation. My strongest work is turning ambiguous operational problems into reliable, maintainable systems using web architecture, DevOps practices, API integrations, reporting pipelines, and AI-assisted workflows.

AI Automation & Workflow Systems

Built workflow systems using n8n, API integrations, AI assistants, structured prompts, webhooks, and reporting logic to support intake, content operations, publishing, local SEO, and internal business processes.

Examples

  • Intake flows for capturing client requests and turning them into structured work items.
  • AI-assisted content and reporting workflows using repeatable review processes.
  • Chat assistant concepts for guided visitor engagement and question capture.
  • Internal automation patterns for reducing manual admin work.

Tools: n8n, OpenAI / Claude workflows, webhooks, REST APIs, Google APIs, structured prompts, JSON, email automation.

DevOps / CI/CD / Infrastructure

Supported production web applications and deployment workflows across multiple engineering teams. Designed custom CI integrations that executed hundreds of times monthly and saved 20+ engineering hours per month.

Areas of work

  • CI/CD workflow design and troubleshooting
  • Git/GitHub workflows
  • Docker-based development environments
  • Linux troubleshooting
  • DNS, hosting, and migration support
  • Production issue investigation
  • Deployment reliability improvements

Web Systems & Static Architecture

Designed managed web systems focused on reliability, low maintenance, and simple client operations. Favor static-first architecture where possible, with dynamic behavior handled through APIs, serverless functions, or automation workflows.

Patterns

  • Svelte / SvelteKit frontends
  • Cloudflare Pages / Workers / R2
  • Static deployment and preview workflows
  • DNS and hosting migration
  • WordPress-to-static or low-maintenance web transitions
  • Client review and publishing processes

Analytics & Reporting Pipelines

Built reporting pipeline prototypes and workflows for client analytics using GA4, Search Console, CSV exports, DuckDB, Evidence.dev, Cloudflare R2, and automated PDF generation.

System goals

  • Pull data from analytics sources
  • Store monthly snapshots
  • Generate repeatable client-facing reports
  • Reduce manual reporting work
  • Make performance data easier for non-technical clients to understand

AI-Native Development Practice

Use AI tools as part of a structured development workflow for planning, implementation, debugging, documentation, refactoring, and review. Focus is not just code generation, but faster iteration with strong technical judgment and verification.

Common patterns

  • Agent-assisted feature implementation
  • Repo analysis and cleanup
  • CI/CD troubleshooting
  • Documentation generation
  • Prompted test and edge-case review
  • Architecture planning
  • Tool-assisted debugging

Extensive hands-on experience with ChatGPT, Cursor, and agentic coding workflows across real project work.

Selected Systems

Evidence.dev Reporting Pipeline

Problem
Manual, dashboard-dependent client reporting.
Approach
CSV/DuckDB snapshots, Evidence.dev templates, R2 storage, and automated PDF output.
Tools
GA4, Search Console, DuckDB, Evidence.dev, Cloudflare R2, n8n.
Result
Repeatable, automatable monthly reporting without client logins.

ChamberIndex Automation

Problem
Local business directory data was scattered and hard to keep current.
Approach
Automated collection and organization with n8n, presented through a Svelte frontend.
Tools
n8n, Svelte, REST APIs, structured data storage.
Result
Searchable, maintainable local directory data without manual copy-paste.

Managed Web Platform

Problem
Clients needed reliable websites without ongoing CMS complexity.
Approach
Static-first SvelteKit sites on Cloudflare with review and publishing workflows.
Tools
SvelteKit, Cloudflare Pages / Workers / R2, DNS, GA4, automated sitemaps.
Result
Low-maintenance sites with clear client update and review processes.

CoachVAS AI Chat Assistant

Problem
Visitors needed guided engagement without a live sales rep on every page.
Approach
Client-facing assistant concept for question capture and guided communication.
Tools
AI assistants, structured prompts, webhooks, intake automation.
Result
Prototype for scalable visitor engagement and lead qualification.

Cross-Platform & Systems Background

I work comfortably across Linux, macOS, and Windows environments, with Linux as my daily driver since 2016. Earlier work includes PC/network support, hosting and DNS troubleshooting, custom WordPress theme/plugin development, Linux desktop applications, internal tooling, and cross-platform troubleshooting.
